Grades K - 2
January, 1991 I began working as a School Counselor in the Jim Thorpe
School District with Grades 5-8. I am currently working as a school
counselor for both the Penn Kidder Campus and the L.B. Morris School.
educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Child
and Family Services from Mansfield University and a Master's of Science
degree in Community Counseling from Shippensburg University. I am also
certified in School Guidance Counseling at both the elementary and
secondary levels. I am a member of JTEA, PSEA, NEA, Lehigh-Carbon
School Counselor's Association and National School Counselor's
Outside of school, I enjoy activities with my family as well as spending time outdoors running, walking and hiking.
Mrs. Stacie Gula
Grades 3 - 8
have served as the Guidance Counselor for grades 5-8 at the Penn Kidder
Campus since 2005. Prior to joining the staff at the Jim Thorpe Area
School District I was employed as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant and
Mobile Therapist serving children and adolescents in Luzerne County, as
well as a Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters. After graduating
from Wyoming Area High School, I received my Bachelor of Science degree
in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University and
my Masters of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of
Scranton. I have achieved certification in both the Elementary and
Secondary levels of School Counseling.
I am a member of the
American School Counselor Association, Pennsylvania School Counselors
Association, Lehigh Carbon School Counselors Association, National
Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, the Jim
Thorpe Education Association, and the Penn Kidder PTA.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. I'm also an avid New York Yankees fan.
