PowerSchool Information

PowerSchool Parent & Student Portal Site

PowerSchool is the district's Student Information System, used to manage all student data.  This web-based system allows real-time access to attendance, grades and other vital data.  Through your web browser, such as Safari, Chrome, or Firefox, you log in using a secure ID and password provided to you by the school.  You will have a separate login ID and password per child. Students in grades 6-12 have their own login ID and password, and should not use their parent's login information.

There is also a mobile app that can be downloaded on iOS or Android devices that provides the same access on your smartphone or tablet device. The district code for the PowerSchool Mobile App is FMLP.

The address for accessing PowerSchool is https://ps.jtasd.org/public .  Just click on the address or the PowerSchool logo below for easiest access.  Otherwise, it is important to type in the address actually as shown into the address bar of your browser, and not into a search field on a web page such as Google, MSN or Yahoo.  It is highly recommended that you bookmark this site for easy access.

Teachers enter grades and comments through the PowerTeacher gradebook program, and are required to update their gradebooks on a weekly basis.  This information is saved into the PowerSchool system immediately and is available for administrators and parents to access.  You can see all assignments and scores that make up a particular grade for each class.  Other information available to you are the daily announcements, attendance history, term grades and teacher comments.

If you prefer, you can request an automated email on a regular basis to any email address that you specify with grades, attendance and/or announcements.  This is only available through the parent login.

If you have not yet been provided with a login and password, please contact your child's Guidance Counselor and this information will be provided to you upon identity verification.  For security purposes we will not give this information over the phone unless we have initiated the phone call.

Questions on grades or attendance should be directed to the school. If you have technical questions on accessing PowerSchool, please contact Orell Gaynor III, Director of Technology & Information Services at 570-325-5139.
