1/16/15 > National Federation of the Blind and National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania Scholarships
The National Federation of the Blind and the NFB of Pennsylvania have scholarships available for students who are blind or visually impaired. The NFB offers thirty scholarships for deserving college students, ranging in monetary value from $3,000 to $12,000, along with an all expenses paid trip to their National Convention in July. Eligibility guidelines and online application are available at nfb.org/scholarships. Deadline is March 31, 2015. The NFB of PA offers two $1,000 scholarships, along with the opportunity to attend the State Convention in November. Applications and eligibility guidelines are available at nfbp.org/scholarships. State scholarship deadline is August 15, 2015.

Universal Technical Institute offers over 12 million dollars in scholarships each year. Students interested in attending UTI may apply for scholarships at www.utifoundation.net.
5/07/15 > HeadsetPlus.com Annual $1,000 College Scholarship Program
HeadsetPlus.com offers an annual $1,000 scholarship to assist an ambitious college student with his/her college expenses. The contest requires the applicant to create a short YouTube video (less than 5 minutes) about themselves, the world around them, why college education is important, what motivates the student, and examples of what they achieved in and outside of school. Applicant must be a high school senior entering college, current college student, or graduate school student; must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA; must be at least 16 years of age; must be a legal resident or citizen of the United States. Videos will be judged on the level of creativity and persuasiveness, as well as content.

Videos must be uploaded to YouTube with the title "$1,000 HeadsetPlus.com College Scholarship Program." In the description of the video, include a link to www.HeadsetPlus.com. Email the active YouTube link to scholarship@headsetplus.com, along with the following: full name, mailing address, and phone number; proof of accredited college acceptance or proof of current attendance; GPA.

Deadline is December 31, 2015. One winner will be selected by January 15, 2016.
