As a precaution, we will keep outdoor activities limited until after 4:00 PM on Monday, April 8. The district has also purchased viewing glasses for all students in grades K-8. These glasses will safeguard their eyes during dismissal and any direct observation of the eclipse, allowing for a safe experience. If any parents/guardians feel uncomfortable with their child being in school during the eclipse, you are welcome to take them home early with a parent note being provided.
As we eagerly anticipate this celestial event, we are confident that our students will gain valuable insights and foster a deeper appreciation for the wonders of science and the universe. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in nurturing our students' curiosity and learning.
